Are you going to see DRAGONS this weekend?

circus2

Don’t forget, the circus is in town this weekend!  Our lucky giveaway winner and her family will be enjoying the show on Friday, August 30th at the iWireless Center in Moline!  If you were not the lucky winner, however, don’t forget that you can order your tickets online and use the Promo Code “BLOG3” to save $3 per ticket!  If you and your family attend any of this weekend’s shows, be sure to use the hashtag #QCringling on your social media outlets, and be sure to share it with us as well!  (You can find us @ICmomsblog on both Twitter and Instagram).

circus4Honestly you DON’T want to miss this opportunity to share the pure magic and joy of the circus with your little ones. “Dragons” is a show that combines the amazing athleticism and entertainment of a circus show with the magical world of myth and dragon lore, celebrating the year of the Dragon this year.

Dragons.

Lions.  Tigers.  Elephants.

Trapeze.  Tricks. Clowns.

Popcorn.  Treats.

Did we mention DRAGONS?

If you still don’t have plans this weekend, why not surprise your little one(s) with a trip to the greatest show on earth?  I (Sara) am surprising my two boys (one who just turned 5 this week) with our tickets to the show, and the excitement is nearly killing me!  The thought of their faces as they see the lights go on and the entertainment begin, it’s priceless!

**Reminder:  Ticket holders can come to the Animal Open House 90 minutes before the show to see some of the Asian animals up close, as well as the all-access Pre Show where you can learn some juggling tips and meet some of the performers!

It’s sure to be a magical evening!  Hope to see some of you there!

Sara
Sara and her husband Matt (sweethearts since they were just 16) got married in 2007, and since then have welcomed four beautiful children (Sam in 2008, Cooper in 2010, Nora in 2012, and Adam James in December 2015). A born-and-raised Iowan, Sara received both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees (in Spanish Literature) from the University of Iowa. She's still teaching Spanish wherever and whenever she can, but her true passion is owning Iowa City Moms and building this community alongside her amazing team. Sara is also the Community Engagement Coordinator for City Mom Collective, and the owner of Cowork Collective downtown Iowa City. Common denominator in all of these jobs: community, community, community.
