We recently co-hosted a super fun (and informational) kids event at MidWestONE bank, entitled “Money In The Bank”. It was so great to see you and your families come out for this awesome morning, even amidst the sloppy, snowy weather!
A HUGE thanks to MidwestONE for hosting this event at their location. We were blown away by their dedication to making this a fun, entertaining morning for our little ones! As all of you mamas know, it’s not always easy to keep the entire family happy in one setting! 🙂
Our little guests enjoyed numerous informational games, set up throughout the entire bank. They learned about how much things cost at the grocery store, how to count change, and even got a look at some foreign currency. That was definitely a hit!
In addition to the games, balloons, and a visit from Buck the Pig, MidWestONE knew exactly the right ingredient to keep our kids engaged and not-fussy: snacks. With a conference room full of juice boxes, muffins, crackers, and cookies, I can honestly say that I didn’t hear one bit of crying from any of the kids that came! Nice work!
And a perk for the parents? MidWestONE was graciously offering to match the minimum $10 deposit required for parents to open a savings account for their kiddos. Thanks so much for that added bonus! Parents looked quite pleased when they found out!
As always, we are always so humbled and blessed at the end of another event for the Iowa City Moms Blog.
