Friday, March 28th
STEM Family Free Night at the Iowa Children’s Museum. Admission is FREE to all visitors from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM sponsored by Rockwell Collins.
Family Free Friday at the Coral Ridge Mall from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Includes free admission to the ice arena (2 kids free with paid adult), free figure skating exhibition, free carousel rides, free admission to the Iowa Children’s Museum (all ages), and free kid’s meal with purchase of adult combo meal at many food court restaurants.
Saturday, March 29th
Waffle Breakfast and Family Fair for LLS, South Slope Community Center from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. Enjoy the world-famous Dad’s Belgian Waffles, check out local exhibitors, bid on awesome slient auction items and participate in crafts and games for the kids! Herky and the Iowa Cheer Squad will be stopping by. Cost: $8/plate, kids 5 and under are $4. All proceeds will go to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society via the Vince Ellison for LLS Man of the Year campaign
Chemists in the Library, Iowa City Public Library from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Science experiments and demonstrations for the whole family.
Night at the Children’s Museum, Iowa Children’s Museum from 6:00-9:00 p.m. This is a KIDS-ONLY event, for kids ages 4 and up. Your child will have a chance to play at the museum, make crafts, have snacks, and dance the night away! Cost: $20/child, Members receive 10% discount. RSVP required. Check with museum for available spots.
