Mom’s Guide to Library Story Times in the Corridor

Fall is officially upon us, and I for one absolutely love the cooler weather! There’s just something so cozy about wearing hoodies and fleece lined leggings. And I do not, for a moment, miss having to lather-up my wriggling toddler with sun screen just to go for a quick walk around the block. That being said, some days are just a little too cool to play outside comfortably. And we all know that freezing temps, snow, and ice are all inevitable. When you’re not in the mood to shiver outside during play time, or when the temps are too low to play outside safely, head over to a library near you for some fun and educational activities! Here’s a list of library story times, family fun, and teen activities scheduled at the Iowa City and surrounding area libraries:

 

 

Cedar Rapids Public Library – Downtown

Toddler/Pre-School Story Times:

• Stories for Scooters (ages 2-4): Mondays @ 9:30am
• Starlight Story Time (Preschoolers): Mondays @ 6:30pm
