Recently I was asked to take a look at MentorMob’s new parenting website. If you aren’t familiar with MentorMob yet, it’s an awesome lifestyle learning website that features online guidebooks to help you learn about a multitude of topics and master new skills!
Their latest project is MentorMob Parenting: a resource for parents who are expecting or have children from newborn through age 5. This website is a one-stop shop for finding answers to all of your parenting questions from how to know if you’re expecting to how to handle sleeping issues and potty training.
They do this through a variety of “playlists,” which feature full-length articles on each topic that come from reputable online sources such as BabyCenter, Parenting.com, WebMD, and more. I love that they also feature articles from popular bloggers and other “real-life” experts for some of their topics. Essentially the site puts together information on almost any parenting question you could think of (and some you didn’t even think of) and puts it all in one place. This saves a lot of time in that you don’t have to google every time you have a question…just go to the site, find the topic you’re looking for, and the articles are right at your fingertips. You also have the option to go directly to the original site the articles came from if you want further information.
I found the site to be very helpful, especially if you’re a first time parent with lots of questions. As a mom of 3 (soon-to-be 4), I found the site helpful as well! It’s nice to be able to find all of the information in one place, which saves a lot of time and energy…and we know you don’t always have that as a mom!
While the site hasn’t officially released yet, MentorMob has offered to give Iowa City Moms Blog readers a sneak peek! Go to this link to check it out for yourself! While you’re there, if you think of a topic that should be covered that isn’t currently featured, or a great article that might be perfect for a feature please send an email to [email protected]! Happy reading!!
