Did you know that this Tuesday, March 10th was National “Pack Your Own Lunch” day? How many of you pack your lunches for work/school/etc.?
If you are looking for some great new recipes for the lunchbox, look no further than Chicken of the Sea! Their mission for 2015 is to encourage Americans to eat more seafood, specifically salmon because of its high nutritional content. Salmon contains a large amount of omega-3 fatty acid content, which dramatically improves the body’s inflammatory process, heart-health and creates better overall brain function. Chicken of the Sea offers healthy and tasty Flavored Salmon Pouches that make it easy to “Pink Up Your Lunch”.
To celebrate packing our lunches and opting for healthier options for our lunches, and our kids, we are going to pink up YOUR lunch this week! Thanks to Chicken of the Sea, we have two “Pink Up Your Lunch” Kits for two lucky ICMB readers! The kits include the following:
- samples of their Flavored Salmon Pouches (Barbeque, Lemon Pepper, and Sweet & Spicy)
- pink collapsible Bento Box
- “Pink up your Lunch” lunch pail
- “Pink up your Lunch” t-shirt
- recipes for some great lunches and snacks

We almost always pack leftovers from the previous day. If not, I still love PB&J!
I love making a big salad for lunch. I can be creative with it and make it as healthy (or unhealthy lol) as I want without spending a ton of money ordering a salad at a local deli or restaurant. Leftovers are great in the winter and fall, too, when I want something warm for lunch. Packing my lunch saves so much money!
I pack my lunch nearly everyday too. Typically leftovers from the night before, but I always love to throw in some fresh fruits and veggies and fancy cheeses 🙂
I pack a lunch because it’s much healthier, and cheaper, than buying fast food.
I pack my lunch because I can eat healthy and it fits better into my budget.
I love packing a lunch because I hate buying lunch! Whenever I have to buy lunch I don’t know what to get, but when I plan and pack a lunch, it is so much better and tastier.
We pack our lunch because it is cheap and then I know it is healthy!
