Saturday, April 25th
Raise the Beam: 10:00-1:00 p.m. @ Krause Plaza at Kinnick Stadium. You are invited to come sign the beam that will be apart of the new University of Iowa Children’s Hospital. The first 500 guests will receive a special gift. The beam will be raised immediately after the football spring game (around 3pm).
Iowa Football Spring Game: 1:00 p.m. @ Kinnick Stadium. Ever want to take your kiddos to a game but in fear they may fall asleep or maybe you don’t think they are ready to sit for an entire game? Well, head on down to Kinnick on Saturday at 1:00 p.m! Admission is free and the concessions will be running. Come check out the 2015 Iowa Football Team! Go Hawks!
Kites for Kids: 12:00-2:00 p.m. @ Shelter No. 5 in Lower City Park. Kids receive a free kite, refreshments are provided, and it’s guaranteed to be fun!! Rain date is May 2nd.

Pentacrest Museums Family Weekend: 1:00-5:00 p.m. @ the University of Iowa Museum of Natural History. Come join us for activity tables throughout the museum and see fun presentations. This event is FREE and also is taking place on Saturday April 25th.
Kites Over Hoover: 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. @ the Hoover Presidential Library and Museum. 180 Go will be preforming a kite show in West Branch. This is an excellent show and definitely a must see. So, grab your lawn chairs, blankets, and a sack lunch and enjoy this spectacular event! In case of inclement weather, the show will be performed on Sunday. This event is FREE. **Date change due to weather**
