Saturday, September 5th
Iowa vs. Illinois State 11am. Want to head to an Iowa Football game with the family? North Liberty Residents are being given the opportunity to purchase game day tickets at a discounted price! It is a fun time for all, but bring the frozen water bottles…it is going to be HOT!
Michael’s Kids Club–Football Windsock 10-12pm. They craft, you shop! Kids 3 and up can enjoy a quick project and take home a finished masterpiece. Sign up in store or online, or just drop in. $2 per child, supplies included.
Kids Fresh Paint 11-2pm. Sponsored by the Amana Art Guild. We are inviting kids 12 and under to experience painting Plein Air. This is a free event with materials provided.
Peanuts Family Film Series: Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown 10am, 12:30pm, 3pm. Join Marcus Theaters this September for our Peanuts Family Film Series! We’re bringing classic Peanuts films to the big screen, where they’ve never been before! Join Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Woodstock and the rest of the gang for a fun family outing! Bring the whole family – admission is just $5! Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown runs September 4-7 (including Labor Day!) and Race for Your Life, Charlie Brown will be September 11-13, at 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m., & 3 p.m. each day.
Sunday, September 6th
Honey crisp Weekend at Wilson’s Apple Orchard 10-6pm. Celebrate Labor Day weekend at Wilson’s Orchard with the beginning of Honey crisp season! Hop on our trailer ride or take a stroll through the orchard to pick some apples then stop by our store to pick up some apple cider to enjoy later! We’re also serving apple turnovers, apple cider donuts, and apple cider slushies. Our grill is officially open for the season from 11:30 am – 2:00 pm serving hamburgers, brats, hot dogs, and chicken sandwiches.
SIT, STAY, R.E.A.D.: with Therapy Dogs of Johnson County 2-4pm. Come read aloud to trained therapy dogs. Read four times to earn a new book!
