MOMS! It is time to take care of YOU.
I have learned, over the years, that I am important. Because I exist. Additionally, the only way I can truly give to others is by first giving to myself. I get to make myself a priority. I am allowed to care for myself. Practicing self-care models so many positive qualities I want my children to inherit: confidence, pride, worth, empathy, respect, and boundaries, to name a few.
Self-care doesn’t have to look pretty or cost money. Take some time to think about the things you love. What is it that makes you feel wonderful? Happy? Fulfilled? Cared for?
I encourage you to make the time each and every day to do one thing that cares for YOU. You are worth that.
I’d love to hear from you! Which way is your favorite way to practice self-care?
