Since my daughter was four-years-old, she’s participated in community recreation leagues. This way she is exposed to athletics at an early age without all the stress of specializing in a sport that comes with a travel team.
Within my three years of her participating, I’ve played the role of the parent, the coach, or the spouse of the coach. After having my daughter play in three different community recreation leagues I noticed that each league has four different types of sports parents.
