Jazz Fest traditionally occurs the weekend of the Fourth of July and concludes with a dazzling fireworks show above the Old Capitol. Get there early to snag your spot on the Pentacrest lawn. Don’t miss the sounds of sweet, sweet jazz all weekend, too!


July 4
9:45 p.m.
S.T. Morrison Park
This multi-day, patriotic festival ends with a beautiful fireworks show in the park. Besides fireworks, it includes a parade, 5K run, concert, carnival rides, and more! Check out the full schedule of events.

Cedar Rapids

July 4
7 p.m. entry
Downtown Cedar Rapids
Freedom Festival will conclude with this dazzling show. Organizers tout that this is the largest fireworks display in Iowa (on the actual Independence Day holiday!). The show accompanies music.
