March Madness Bingo: Iowa Women

March Madness has arrived, and for our household that means non.stop. basketball.watching.  We know that it’s the same for many of you and your families, too! As we cheer on our Hawkeyes in the Big Ten Tournament this weekend, and in the NCAA tournament later this month, we thought it might be fun to add a little more excitement to the whole experience, in particular for the kids. Enter: March Madness Bingo! We’ve done it for Hallmark holiday movies, we’ve done it for parks and playgrounds, and now we’re bringing the Bingo fun to the court. Or to the living room, we should say.

So, while you’re gathered around the TV in your Hawkeye gear, screaming your lungs out as we watch our girls win and win, add in a little cherry on top with this fun game for the whole family. Print out the PDF version and check them off with pen/pencil, use M&Ms or marshmallows to mark your spots and keep it reusable, or just avoid the printing altogether and just mark off your spots digitally by taking a screenshot and “drawing” on it in Instagram, Snapchat, or other apps that we’re sure you know about and we don’t.

**And yes, a men’s version is coming next week for the Big Ten Men’s Tournament!

Ready…….set……BINGO!    And, as always, LET’S GO HAWKS!

Sara and her husband Matt (sweethearts since they were just 16) got married in 2007, and since then have welcomed four beautiful children (Sam in 2008, Cooper in 2010, Nora in 2012, and Adam James in December 2015). A born-and-raised Iowan, Sara received both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees (in Spanish Literature) from the University of Iowa. She's still teaching Spanish wherever and whenever she can, but her true passion is owning Iowa City Moms and building this community alongside her amazing team. Sara is also the Community Engagement Coordinator for City Mom Collective, and the owner of Cowork Collective downtown Iowa City. Common denominator in all of these jobs: community, community, community.
