I am currently finishing up my 2nd trimester and am feeling the strain. With both my girls I gained a lot of weight and my belly got VERY big, particularly at the end. With this pregnancy I have not gained as much weight, but I am getting VERY big, VERY early! Big baby? Or just muscle memory (or lack thereof)? I’ m not sure yet. But add that to chasing around a very energetic toddler, including the lifting that comes along with having a young child, and I am really feeling the aching back and belly. Forget the aches and pains at the end of the day…mine usually hit by noon!
I had started thinking about getting some sort of belly support to help with the strain. Then I was contacted by Belevation and asked to try a couple of their maternity support products. Perfect timing!! I never used any kind of support with my first 2 pregnancies, so I really wasn’t sure what to expect. I still wasn’t sure what to expect when I received the package in the mail. I was given the Mid-Thigh PettiPant and Support Maternity Briefs to try. I’ll admit that I was skeptical…just out of the package the products put me in mind of Spanx, maternity-style. Would they really help me? I decided to try them out for a week and see. The answer was a resounding yes!
Both products gave me noticeable support the instant I put them on. My belly didn’t feel so heavy, and my back felt supported. Even at the end of the day, when gravity tends to take its toll, I noticed that I had fewer aches and pains, and my belly didn’t feel as heavy. I REALLY noticed the difference one day when I went without the support. By afternoon the achiness and heaviness was taking its toll…so I promptly went and put the support on!
For everyday use my personal preference is the Support Maternity Briefs. The support is really comfortable to wear, and I hardly even notice I have it on, aside from the extra support it gives. However, for certain occasions I do prefer the PettiPant. Particularly when wearing a dress. As you know, dresses provide absolutely no support for your belly, but they are often one of the most comfortable things to wear during pregnancy due to the fact that they aren’t at all restricting. Enter the PettiPant. The PettiPant gives you that extra support, with the added benefit of working like shapewear to give you a smooth silhouette. So this is a great product for you if you are looking for shapewear as well as support.
I have been really happy with my Belevation products so far, and am looking forward to that extra support as my bump continues to grow! If you or someone you know is expecting, I definitely suggest you give their products a try!
One lucky reader is going to win a Belevation support to try out for themself! Enter for yourself, or someone you know…this would make a great gift for an expectant mama! This looks like a great product to have on hand when pregnant especially the bottoms. I swear my thighs expanded when I was prego! As for tops my fave maternity shapewear product is from CozyBelly at http://www.cozybelly.com/. Their tanks are super comfy and made out of high quality fabric. They also have nursing tanks and just regular tanks for pre/post pregnancy that I wear 24/7. Thank goodness for support products eh? 😉
Howdy! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was
wondering which blog platform are you using for this website?
I’m getting tired of WordPress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at
options for another platform. I would be awesome if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
Actually no matter if someone doesn’t understand afterward its up to
other visitors that they will help, so here it takes place.
Very good blog! Do you have any helpful hints for aspiring writers?
I’m planning to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you suggest starting with a free platform like WordPress or
go for a paid option? There are so many options out
there that I’m totally confused .. Any tips? Appreciate it!
I do believe all the ideas you’ve introduced in your post.
They’re very convincing and can definitely work. Nonetheless,
the posts are too short for newbies. Could you please lengthen them a bit from subsequent time?
Thank you for the post.
