Happy New Year from all of us at Iowa City Moms Blog!! We’ve had such a great year in 2013 getting to know all of you lovely readers online and in-person through our events!! We truly could not do any of this without you and we’re so blessed to have your help in creating community in the Iowa City area!!
Thank you to all of you who attended our very first Moms Night Out in June at Kyodai. We had such a blast and loved seeing all of you come out for our first major event! Yummy appetizers and desserts, terrific swag, and a room full of moms made this event a night to remember! July brought our Health Fair and Family Day. It was great to see everyone learning more about how to keep their families healthy and happy. And the fire truck was definitely a hit!! The trip to Wilson’s Orchard in August was HOT, but was such a big hit with everyone who attended! October brought a much colder, yet beautiful day for Blogger Dash. Thank you to everyone who came out to run or walk our first 5k in support of UI Children’s Hospital!! We loved seeing you participate with your families, and are so glad some of you made Blogger Dash your first-ever 5k! We held our 2nd Moms Night Out at Iron Hawk in November, and enjoyed seeing so many of your faces, both new and familiar! We hope you were as happy as we were to get a night out with out the kiddos to enjoy great food and great company!
We’ve loved getting to meet up with you for smaller play dates as well, at the Coral Ridge Mall playground, Renee’s Ceramic Café, the Splash Pad, and the Coralville Fire Station. For those of you who have joined our smaller community playgroups, we hope you’ve gotten a chance to meet up and meet some new friends!!
