Parents Night Out at the Robert A. Lee Rec Center, from 4:00-8:30 p.m. Sponsored by the Downtown District and the Iowa City Parks and Rec department. Come drop your kiddos (Ages 3-12) off for a night of fun while you enjoy everything Downtown has to offer! Cost: $7/child if pre-registered, $10 for drop-offs.
Fashion Weekend, downtown Iowa City. Hours: Friday 4-8 and Saturday all day. Join local retails After-Hours for drinks, food, a chance to meet with designers, store owners, purchase exclusive trunk items, and more! Hansel and Gretel, Coralville Center for the Performing Arts. Come see this classic tale, put on by Young Footliters, which features a cast of 1st through 8th graders. Cost is $7 for kids 12 and under, $12 for adults. Showtimes are as follows:
Friday: 7:00 p.m.
Saturday: 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Sunday: 2:00 p.m.
Saturday Night Skate, 6:oo-9:00 @ the Robert A. Lee Community Recreation Center. Every Saturday night, free skate (which includes free skates AND skating!) is offered in the Robert A Lee Community Recreation Center gymnasium. No matter if you’re young or old, with family or friends, an experienced skater or a beginner, everyone has a blast rolling around – and staff is available if you need assistance.
Family Swim, 6:00 – 9:00 @ the Robert A. Lee Community Recreation Center. Skating not your thing? Swim for just $1/person at Iowa City’s Robert A. Lee Recreation Center pool. Children 2 and under are free.
