Friday Night Concert Series, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. in the Ped Mall (downtown Iowa City). Bring your family downtown for a night of great music and fun! This week’s performers will be The Fez. Rain location: Chauncey Swan parking ramp.
Saturday, May 17th
Iowa City Farmer’s Market, 7:30 a.m. to Noon in the Chauncy Swan Parking Ramp (downtown Iowa City). This is an awesome open-air market featuring fresh, locally grown produce, plants and flowers, baked goods, handicrafts, and more!
Saturday Night Concert Series, 6:30-9:00 p.m. in the Ped Mall (downtown Iowa City). This week’s performers are the City High and West High jazz ensembles. Representatives from Chicken of the Sea will also be on hand giving out golden tokens for a chance to win $10,000 or Chicken of the Sea seafood products for a year. Saturday Night Skate, 6:oo-9:00 @ the Robert A. Lee Community Recreation Center. Every Saturday night, free skate (which includes free skates AND skating!) is offered in the Robert A Lee Community Recreation Center gymnasium. No matter if you’re young or old, with family or friends, an experienced skater or a beginner, everyone has a blast rolling around – and staff is available if you need assistance.
Sunday, May 18th
Sunday Fun Day: Fun with Bees and Bugs, 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Iowa City Public Library. Come to the library for fun activities the whole family can do together!
