{Re-Cap} New Year Makeover. {And A Valentine’s Makeover GIVEAWAY!}

leslee4We were so excited for our New Year, New You Makeover in January!  There’s no better way to start the new year than with a fresh new hair cut and a relaxing 1 hour massage!  Well, wait…maybe there’s one thing better.  Add in a little shopping spree and dinner with your favorite person, and that is the best way to ring in 2015!

Leslee began her day at Massage Heights, where she was treated to a 1 hour massage.  When she sent me this post, massage photo, I could just see the relaxation written on her face!  And as someone who has experienced first hand (more than once) the amazing staff and relaxing atmosphere of Massage Heights, I can say that it truly is the best way you could possibly start your day!

leslee3After the massage, Leslee headed to T”hair”apy with Amber, where she enjoyed a fresh new haircut and hair color. Because let’s face it, even when we don’t make a big change, it just feels good to have a healthy new look!  Leslee’s smile was even brighter after her time at the salon, and then she was off for an evening of fun with her husband.  First, a stop at Tailgate Iowa (one of our new favorite shops!) where she was able to pick out some new Hawkeye gear for herself (how often do we shop for ourselves, moms?!).  And then, finishing off her special day at Graze, where they enjoyed a delicious dinner and yummy dessert.  Seriously, if you have not eaten at Graze, put it on your list!

  1. I LOVE Tailgate and Graze!!! A date with the hubs would be fantastic after a day of pampering!!! Because who DOESNT want to be pampered right before V-Day!!!

  2. Such an awesome give away! I would love to win, and if I did I would love to have my hubby get the massage instead of me. He is such an awesome hardworking husband and Daddy, he totally deserves it! And I’d still get the hair appointment, win-win!

  3. I would love to win this! As a mom of 4 there isn’t much time for me to escape for a mommy day. I also really need to do something with my hair. It needs some serious help!

  4. I would love to win this!! With a residency budget, pampering for mom comes last in line. And what better way to spend Friday the 13th!!!

  5. I would LOVE the opportunity for this makeover! Too many days I spend in sweats and my hair in a ponytail since my little man was born a few months ago.

  6. I’ve been racking my brain trying to figure out what to do for my husband for Valentine’s Day. We had our son seven months ago and haven’t been alone together since. I think it would be amazing to be able to get myself all dolled up and go on a date with him for Valentine’s Day!
