We had so much fun at this year’s egg hunt, and we hope you did, too! First things first, a HUGE thank you to our co-hosts for this event, The Family Dental Center and Heritage Christian School. We are so grateful for their support of Iowa City Moms Blog and their help in bringing such an amazing family event to our community! Speaking of which, if you’re looking for a place to host a party or an event, Scanlon Gymnasium was a great space!
Another BIG thank you goes to the ladies of Tri Delta sorority from the University of Iowa. They arrived bright and early to help us set up, did face painting, and even dressed up as the Easter Bunny for all of those photo ops with your families! Thank you so much, girls! You are so wonderful to work with!
Our guests started off by visiting all of our awesome sponsor booths, and they had so much fun grabbing some eggs for their baskets and participating in the activities and games that each table had to offer. Heritage Christian School
Located in North Liberty, HCS has been serving the Corridor community since 1992, and is a wonderful, inviting place to send your kiddos for a Christ-centered, academically-challenging education. The Family Dental Center
Our friends from The Family Dental Center never cease to amaze us with their booths. This time, the giant stuffed animal bunnies were the biggest hit! They also had a game to play, and {brilliant} a TV with movies, for when the littles had too much and needed a break. Enrichment Therapy & Learning Center
Talk about some awesome activities! The ladies at Enrichment Therapy had so much fun with the kids, and it was quite the popular booth for all ages! Bright Futures Chiropractic
It was so great to see our friends from Bright Futures Chiropractic! Their little coloring table with an adorable caterpillar craft was another fun place for the little ones to stop on their egg-collecting adventures. National Dance Academy
The young ladies of NDA were definitely a hit with the kids, with their big bucket of candy and their smiling faces! We are so blessed in this community to have amazing chiropractic care in every neighborhood! The staff from Kay Family Chiropractic came prepared with buckets full of eggs, and a super fun rubber duck activity that definitely kept the kids’ attention (anything with water involved!!). After visiting all of the AWESOME sponsor booths, the kids had a chance to visit the Easter Bunny and get some fun photos, stop at the snack table, and get their faces painted. And then, we scattered approximately 1000 eggs in the middle of the gym and had a ginormous egg-grab! So. Much. Fun.
