How to Decide Which Schoolwork and Art to Keep: A Flowchart

School started only two months ago and our counters are already drowning under piles of school work and art my daughter brings home every day. According to my daughter, each and every one is a masterpiece that must be saved FOREVER. Whether the page is a colorful painting that displays her ever growing creativity or just one line she scribbled across the bottom, if she sees it getting thrown away you’d think the end of the world was in sight!

As much as she’d like to keep everything, it’s just not possible or really necessary. But how do I decide what to keep and what to discard? My brain is a twisted mess trying to figure it out, so I thought maybe a flowchart would be a handy tool!
