You may have noticed some changes around here, and we are so excited to announce that, alongside our parent company, City Mom Collective (formerly City Moms Blog Network), we have rebranded our entire website to better serve YOU, our loyal readers and followers!
For those of you who have been along for the whole ride, you may remember that in April 2013, two childhood friends got together and started the Iowa City Moms Blog with the intention of connecting moms in the Iowa City area. We reminded you that life is better shared, and we promised to help build the community that you were craving.
Over the past 6 years, we have done our best to build that community. We’ve welcomed you and your family to over 100 local events, we have grown to know you through our social media channels, and we’ve connected with you via online groups, emails, DMs and more. YOU are the reason we are here, and YOU are the reason we have decided to give our site a fresh, new look. You’ll find that our new page is SUPER mobile-friendly, as we know that most of you follow us on-the-go (as moms do), and we’ve done our best to incorporate the new, timely content with many of our most popular posts from the archives, to give you the absolute best in local family resources.
Today we want to THANK YOU for following us, whether it’s been a week or a month or the whole six years, and we hope that ICMB (now ICM) has been a place where you’ve found connection, friends, and a community that you can trust.
